Big Sis loves Ruby very much! They're mostly quick-thinking and clever, even if their personal decisions are questionable. Their avoidance about what are (presumably) signs of corruption, and the implications of that (supported by being told someone on Wild City who had gone and come back as an audition idol) are worrying, but she doesn't feel a need to push. It's more important to be a person Ruby can rely on and wants to talk to. Their relationship is more important than work, not just because having good rapport with unitmates and the audition idols is her strategic priority, but she also cares about Ruby. Especially since Ruby seems to be in a long-term relationship with Danger and Self-Destruction.
While she still doesn't think she NEEDS personhood or anyone caring about her, she does appreciate Ruby's attempts. Possessiveness is a cute love language as long as it's limited to draping and a little jealousy. Ayumu tied up at their doorstep was also a lovely tribute, even though she's still unsure about what her feelings for that boy are.
